Quick Grants

“Quick Grant” proposals are for immediate, short-term funding needs of $500 or less. The Equipoise Fund
Q Grants Committee reviews and responds to an applicant’s funding request within 10 working days of its submission. If approved, a grant is disbursed immediately. A suitable purpose for a quick grant might be a conference registration or liability insurance premium.

To apply for a Quick Grant:

  • Email a one to two page letter of intent to grants@equipoisefund.org
  • Be sure your letter of intent includes applicant contact information, a statement of need, project proposal, project impact and project budget.
  • We will send an email response; if you do not receive a confirmation within 2 days, please call Melissa, 307.734.3908.
  • Submit a follow-up letter to the Equipoise Fund within 30 days of expending the funds.

Quirky Grant

“Quirky Grant” proposals must be submitted for review and approval by these quarterly deadlines: March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31 of each year.

Quirky Grant proposals are for projects up to $1,000 that are quirky – please click here to see an example of a quirky grant proposal. The Equipoise Fund Q Grants Committee will review all proposals and respond to applicants within 30 days of the appropriate quarterly deadline.

 

To apply for a Quirky Grant:

  • Email a 2-5 page grant proposal to grants@equipoisefund.org. If you don’t receive an email confirmation from us within a week, please call Melissa, 307.734.3908.
  • Grant proposals can be brief, should be creative, and must include the following:
    • Contact information
    • Statement of need
    • Project goals, including how the project will further the mission of the Equipoise Fund
    • Project proposal detailing what funding will be used for
    • Description of projected impact on their organization, community or Wyoming
    • Project budget
    • A quirky or compelling reason we should fund your proposal

    Any organization awarded a quirky grant is expected to submit a follow-up letter to the Equipoise Fund within 30 days of expending the funds.

    Just Quz Grant

    “Just Quz" Grants are granted at the discretion of the President of the Equipoise Fund and can not be solicited. Just Quz grants were formerly referred to as CEED Initiatives.

    To apply for a Just Quz Grant:

  • Submit a grant proposal via email to grants@equipoisefund.org. If you don’t receive an email confirmation, please call us.
  • Grant proposals can be brief and should be creative. A proposal must include the following:
    • Contact information
    • Statement of need
    • Project goals
    • Project proposal detailing what the funding will be used for
    • Description of projected impact on their organization, community or Wyoming
    • Project budget
    • A compelling reason we should fund your proposal

    Just Quz grant applicants should expect an answer from the President when she feels like it, and should expect to receive approval or denial just ‘cuz. We request all recipients of Just Quz grants to submit a follow-up letter to the Equipoise Fund within 30 days of expending the funds.
